Out & About with OBAC
Getting out and meeting our members and future members is really important
to OBAC. The gallery below shows where we've been lately. Be sure to check
out our event calendar to see where we'll be in the near future.
Joanne Ritchie and Larry Hall, president of the B.C-based North American Truckers Guild, got together at the Calgary Big Rig Weekend in August 2009. The two began discussions on issues of common interest at the CCMTA annual meeting in Regina, Sask. in May, and plan to spend more time together in the future.

OBAC's Joanne Ritchie and Ron Singer, president of the Alberta Construction Trucking Association, give the thumbs-up to a closer working relationship between the two associations. "Both groups have a lot in common," Ritchie says. "We can certainly make more progress by combining our strengths and talents."

Roman Wiktorowicz, publisher of Truck 'N' Roll Magazine, a Polish-language quarterly trucking magazine, joins Joanne Ritchie at Fergus. Roman signed his name to the banner OBAC will be sending to our troops Afghanistan for Christmas. Joanne writes an owner-operator column in Truck 'N' Roll Magazine.

year. The heater was presented by Espar regional sales manager, Rick Bruce, at the Fergus Truck Show. Espar very kindly sponsors OBAC's website.

Scott, also an OBAC member, was helping out at the booth during the Fergus Truck Show.
