Out & About with OBAC

Getting out and meeting our members and future members is really important to OBAC. The gallery below shows where we've been lately. Be sure to check out our event calendar to see where we'll be in the near future.

Lockridge & Park on Sirius

OBAC's Technical and Regulatory Affairs Advisor, Jim Park, joins Evan Lockridge, host of The Lockridge Report for an on-air discussion, live from the Mid-America Trucking Show.

McNichol & Ritchie

Randy McNichol of Ranlyn Transport and OBAC's Joanne Ritchie give a thumbs up to a wet but satisfying weekend at the Stirling Truck Show.

Kloosterman banner

Murray Kloosterman, an owner-operator with Erb Transport, puts his John Henry on one of the OBAC banners that will be heading to Afghanistan at Christmas to show our support for Canadian troops stationed there. Murray, OBAC, and the banner were at the Stirling Truck Show on Father's Day.

OBAC Atlantic Team

Meet the OBAC Atlantic team, from left to right, Dan Cheverie (NB), Jim Underwood (NS), Betty Lou Rudderham (NB), executive director, Joanne Ritchie, and Donna Muir (NB).

Race car Roger

Member Roger Brisson gives OOIDA's NASCAR simulator a run for its money at the 2008 Fergus Truck Show. Ron Murmis will have the simulator at the OBAC booth in Fergus again this year. Drop by for a ride, and make a donation to the Convory for a Cure.

Ritchie & McLellen

Joanne Ritchie welcomes OBAC's newest life member, Nova Scotia's Paul McLellan. Paul signed up at the OBAC booth during the 2009 Atlantic Truck Show.

Cheverier with flag

OBAC's Dan Cheverie (right) collects another signature on the one of the OBAC banners we're sending off to Afghanistan to remind our troops that Canadian truckers are behind them all the way.

Jim and Bud

OBAC's Jim Park congratulates HighwaySTAR of the Year winner, Bud Rush, of Oakpoint Man. Bud is an owner-operator with Armstrong Moving United Van Lines, based in Winnipeg.
