Alberta Government Asking Public to Make Safer Roads Their Issue
EDMONTON, AB – Alberta Transportation wants your opinion on what changes, if any, need to be made to the provinces road safety regime. The agency has posted an online survey to solicit public comments as it conducts its ongoing review of road regulations. It is particularly interested in feedback on driver training and driver examiner regulation.
Alberta truck drivers and trainers are encouraged to weigh in on whether they think road testing should be done differently, whether Alberta’s demerit point reduction training programs leads to safer drivers, and whether it is too difficult or too easy to open a driver training school.
The survey, which can be found here, takes about 20 minutes to complete. It will be available online until January 2, 2015. All responses are anonymous. For more information on what topics are included the public survey, read the public notice here.
